Why lock the top of the door?
A lock at the top is out of a child's reach and does not care what handle the door has. The door top lock works with levers, which knob covers cannot hold. It needs a 1 3/8-inch interior door and one small peg in the frame.
Can I lock a closet with folding doors?
Yes. The bi-fold lock is a clear bar that rests across the top of two panels so they cannot fold. There is nothing to drill and no glue, which suits a rental.
How far should a window open?
