Details
A pressure gate stays up by pushing hard against the wall, and that pressure leaves round dents in drywall. Set one of these pads between each top pressure cup and the wall, then tighten the gate as you normally would.
The pads are oversized and cushioned on the wall side, so the gate's push spreads over a bigger patch of paint. Nothing is drilled, screwed or glued. Take the gate down and the pads come with it, leaving the wall as it was.
