Safety Innovations Self-Closing Decora Outlet Covers, 2-Screw
The same self-closing shutters, cut for rectangular Decora outlets that hold their plate with two screws.
Fits: Decora (rectangular) outlets held by two screws
- Closes itself. Shutters slide back over the slots when a plug is pulled.
- Two screws. Made for Decora outlets, the rectangular kind with a top and a bottom screw.
- Screwdriver only. Take off the old plate and put this one in its place.
- White or Beige. Six plates in a pack.
Details
Look at the outlet you want to cover. If it is the rectangular Decora kind with a screw above and below, this is the plate. Take the old one off, line up the two screws and tighten them down.
You push a plug in against the shutters and they give way. Pull it out and they close over the slots again, every time, with nobody having to remember. Six plates in a pack covers most rooms on one floor.
