Prices and packs

The catalog was last updated on September 19, 2026. We update prices and the pack sizes on offer on a schedule. A product or a pack that stops being offered leaves the site at the next update and comes back when it returns. If the price here and the price at checkout ever differ, the checkout price is the one you pay.

Fit notes

Fit notes come from our own product data: post widths, door thickness, outlet styles, inside dimensions. When two of our own descriptions disagree, we print the more careful figure. The banister kit is the clearest case. Its clamps reach 3 5/8 inches, and we tell you to plan on 3 1/2.

Pictures and films

Product photographs and installation films are ours. Pictures with measurement arrows or words printed over them stay out of the galleries, and the fit details they carry are written out as text on the page instead.

Safety figures

Where a page quotes a figure about child safety, such as the four-inch window opening or the advice to anchor furniture, it comes from a public agency. We read each source before citing it and print the date we read it. The list is below.

This is general information about childproofing hardware. It does not replace the instructions that come with your gate, furniture or wiring, and no device takes the place of watching a young child. Turn off power at the breaker before working on an outlet or switch plate.
