Plate, box or cap?
An outlet you use every day wants a self-closing plate: the shutters close when the plug comes out. An outlet with a plug that never comes out wants the Twin Door box. Caps are for outlets nobody uses at all.
Which plate fits my wall?
Count the screws on the plate you have now. One screw in the middle is a standard outlet. Two screws, top and bottom, is Decora. We make the self-closing plate in both, and the box comes with plates for both.
What about the switches?
The switch guard is a clear cover with openings at the top and bottom. An adult finger reaches the switch, a small hand does not. It goes on with the screws already in the switch plate.
