Details
A stand-alone gate rests its weight on a thin bottom bar, and on hardwood that bar leaves marks. The Floor Saver is a clear silicone strip that goes under the door area of the gate, between the bar and the floor.
Clean the bar first, apply the double-sided tape, trim it, then press the strip on. Give the adhesive 24 hours before the gate goes back into use. The strip is 23 3/4 inches long: cut it shorter for a narrow gate, or run two end to end for a wide one.

Installation
- Clean the bottom bar of the gate with an alcohol-based or window cleaner.
- Apply the double-sided tape to the bottom of the gate and trim the excess.
- Peel the backing and press the silicone strip onto the tape.
- Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to set before the gate goes back in use.
