Details

The drawer with the knives, the cabinet with the dishwasher pods: those get a latch first. It mounts inside, so the front of the drawer looks the same as before. Pull the drawer and it opens about 7/8 inch, then stops.

That gap is enough for an adult finger to press the latch down and let the drawer open. The latch catches on the cabinet's face frame, so it needs a framed cabinet. Each pack has four latches and the eight screws to fit them.

Installation

Check the cabinet has a face frame. The latch catches on it.
Hold the latch inside the drawer front so the hook meets the frame.
Fasten it with the two screws.
Open the drawer about 7/8 inch and press the latch down to release.
